The Student Co-ordinator has the responsibility for the development, implementation and evaluation of student support policies and procedures. The Guidance Network consists of the School Counsellor, the Deans, the School Nurse, the Student Support Co-ordinator and the Chaplain. The Guidance Network is set up to ensure that students’ psychological and emotional needs are monitored and that appropriate procedures are in place for identification, referral and support. This network provides tutors, teachers, students and parents with an appropriate body or person to whom they can refer concerns. The network ensures that appropriate information is passed on, always taking due care of the responsibility of confidentiality. |
