The aim of the Association is to provide a link for past pupils to maintain contact with each other and to be supportive of the school and its activities.
We are constantly updating our comprehensive database. To do this we need your help. If you haven’t already done so, could you please fill in the database form on this site. This is important for our history and archives and for us to keep in touch with you. In conjunction with this, please look at the list of ‘Lost Members’ also on this website, and let us know if you know the whereabouts and if possible the contact details of any of these Old Girls.
Our other main objective is to increase our membership. One of the ways we hope to achieve this is to encourage branches who haven’t met for a while to hold a gathering of some kind. We will also be encouraging members, where there isn’t a branch, to endeavour to start one.
Each year, on the last weekend of October, a reunion weekend is held for the 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 years on groups. This is coordinated by the Association and managed by a convenor/convenors and their committee from each reunion group. More details for these reunions can be found on our ‘Reunions’ page.
The Association continues to offer two half scholarships for daughters and granddaughter’s of Old Girls, who might not otherwise be able to afford the wonderful opportunity we have had. More details can be found on the Scholarship page.
If you are a member and living in New Zealand or overseas, three times a year you will receive our Evergreen which will keep you in touch with everything that is happening within the Association. The Evergreen may also be accessed on our website. Please send us any news of yourself or other Old Girls that you would like included in the Evergreen.
If you wish to become a member of the Old Girls’ Association, please fill in the Membership Form found on this web site. We would love to hear from you.
