Middle School Uniform

The school has a wardrobe that is attractive, easy to wear and offers choice. We expect each girl to respect this and wear her St Margaret’s College uniform appropriately and with pride.

Students must have the following items:

  • Blazer (Jacket)
  • Navy tunic
  • School blouse
  • Tie
  • Tracksuit
  • PE top and shorts
  • Black lace up shoes

In addition to the compulsory items listed above, students may select from the following optional items for everyday (non-formal) wear:

  • Navy tailored shorts
  • White SMC tee shirt
  • Green polo neck skivvy (winter terms)
  • Cardigan
  • Polar fleece jacket

For formal occasions, all Year 7-10 students must wear:

  • Blazer (Jacket)
  • Navy tunic
  • School blouse and tie
  • White socks (summer) and black opaque tights (winter)
  • Black lace up shoes

All uniform, including the PE/Sports Uniform and a selection of second-hand clothing, stationery and accessories is available from Maggies Shop. The shop is located in the cottage at the Papanui Road entrance to the school. Hours: 10.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday during term time and at specified times during the holidays.
